Analysis of Economic Growth and Human Development in Gorontalo Province

Economic Development in Gorontalo Province has a high growth rate when compared to the national rate, but this is inversely proportional value of Human Index (HDI) which below value, even though HDI itself one determining factors for success development an area. Therefore, study aims see whether there relationship between economic and Province. This research method uses Granger causality analysis technique reciprocal HDI, as well multiple linear regression effect each indicator on found that mutually influencing HDI. Regression also explains education positive significant increasing Province, while Health no effect. Through results study, it hoped Provincial government can determine right policies increase community by improving quality its resources so economy will increase.
